Overview of module:

The history from below module focuses on the histories of the ordinary people of this country; those who have been oppressed or lacking opportunities in the past; those whose voices are less often heard. The unit homes in on specific groups of people looking at the challenges they have made for greater rights and power. Section A is designed to equip students with an appreciation of the different groups of people that may have lacked opportunities in the past and also that different people and groups of people have had different experiences in the past. This section will test the historical skills of interpretation, diversity and evidence handling/enquiry as well as ASDAN skills.
