V&A Schools SEN Programme: multi-sensory exploration of historical objects from around the world
The V&A Learning Department aims to make the Museum's collections accessible to all through an engaging and diverse range of events, courses, workshops, trails and resources. The Schools programme supports Primary and Secondary students and teachers and includes sessions for students with special educational needs. The SEN sessions have a particular focus on historical and cross-cultural objects.
Designed to be interactive, the sessions combine a selection of multi-sensory resources to help bring museum objects to life. The objects include the impressive Tipu's Tiger and the spectacular Chinese Dragon Robes...
