Jasper - Space Dog
By Hilary Robinson (illustrated by Lewis James)
Robert's review
I enjoyed reading this book because of the weird and wonderful things it told me. I never knew that Buzz Aldrin was actually called Edwin, and his sister couldn’t say “brother” and kept calling him “buzzer” and the name stuck.
I liked the way it started with “Top Secret” and I hid it under the sofa one day.
Jasper the dog was the best character and the Bogna Buggy was really funny.
I liked learning about the different names for the lunar module and the command module and I planned my own space mission.
This book is sort of non-fictional fiction. I would recommend it to other children who are interested in space.
Rufus's review
Rufus really liked all the facts about space in Jasper and the Space Dog, he laughed at the funny questions the dog asked and enjoyed finding out about space. He liked the ketchup planet best of all! He would recommend it to his friends. He gives it 4 out of 5.
