Will was highly commended for his argument which declared that the Haitian Revolution was the greatest failure of its time, something which is evidenced by the nation’s current state. He argues that this is because the Revolution allowed for the foundation of a corrupt society to flourish in the place of a liberal one, partly due to the bigotry of the West.
