Development Programmes
SLDP/HTDP/ETP/BEPHSL
Please read the terms and conditions carefully before you register for a place on the programme. Please also refer to the CPD Events terms and conditions
- The Subject Leader Development Programme (SLDP)/History Teacher Development Programme (HTDP), Experienced Teacher Programme (ETP) is open to all secondary history educators in a variety of settings and circumstances, including secondary, special schools, FE colleges in the UK and beyond.
- The programme's are only available to individuals and not departments or schools. Each registration can only be offered to a single individual and as such must be registered with the direct name and email address of the person participating in the programme.
- SLDP/HTDP and BEPHSL will be self-directed consisting of online modules to be completed by the end of the course. During the programme you will be required to attend 3 Zoom meetings and complete the reflection in order to be certificated.
- For SLDP/HTDP and ETP You will be invited to join a WhatsApp group containing course leaders and other participants to help network and communicate with the programme leaders. This is not compulsory and is done at your personal discretion. Being part of the WhatsApp group will provide valuable networking and conversational opportunities.
- In order to access the SLDP/HTDP/ETP content you will need to either be a HA member or have a free basic account. To register at the member rate you must either be an individual member or your organisation must be a corporate member of the Historical Association and your digital profile already attached to your online corporate.
- You will be given access to the SLDP/HTDP content on receipt of payment and the relevant registration information. You will have access to this content for one year. You will gain access to ETP/BEPHSL via a Moodle login when the course starts.
- Payment is accepted via card payment only. A VAT receipt can be requested once payment is received. If you are booking on behalf of the attending delegate ensure their details are used and not yours.
- Refunds and deferrals will only be accepted within one week of booking by emailing events@history.org.uk or under extenuating circumstances which will be considered on a case by case basis.
- The HA reserves the right to review the programme process and to make appropriate changes. These changes will not apply to participants going through the process.
- The programme and programme materials are copyright of the Historical Association and course leaders. No unauthorised sharing or copying of content.
- The Historical Association operates in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations (from 25 May 2018) and UK Data Protection Act. We promise to use your data in a fair, transparent and ethical way. We collect your personal information in order to fulfil your evelopment Programme contract with us, and provide you with the services you have signed up for. We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure.
By registering for the a Development Programme and as part of the service, you are opting in to inclusion on an email distribution list to provide you with updates about the programme and put you in touch with the Programme Leaders. Your email address will be visible to other members of the SLDP/HTDP/ETP/BEPHSL email distribution list.
You can ask to see what information we hold about you, request changes to the data, or instruct us to delete it at any time, however this may mean we are no longer able to deliver the benefits you have paid for or keep you updated about the programme.
