I absolutely LOVED this book because I love all the cliffhangers and the tension the author builds in the story. I would definitely recommend this book to fans of fantasy, myths and legends because it’s full of genies. My favourite character is Relic Hamilton as, if I was in his position, I would adore being able to control 6 sprites!

Have you ever wanted to travel back to the time of King Charles II? Well, this book is for you! This book follows the adventures of Relic Hamilton and his crew of genie hunters, hunting nefarious genies across space and time. The book is set in two time: periods: 1675 and 2025. I found 2025 most interesting as this is when all the exciting things happened, like when Relic discovered The Hermitic Sodality of Genie Hunters. Overall, I really like this time the book is set in. The character I found most compelling was Latimer as she is half human and half genie. There is also a lot we don’t know about her, like if she inherited her mother’s powers or only her looks. Either way, I think there are many mysteries shrouding this character and I would like to know the answers in the future. I felt that the plot of the story was serious as some of the many genies have the immense power to grant wishes such as bending the fabric of space and time and mind control, so these genies could destroy the world with their power. Overall, I would rate this book four out of five stars. This book is utterly brilliant.
