It was a great book from the start because Bethan was a nice owner for Cobweb. They named him Cobweb because he loves touching cobwebs. In the middle of the story, when he went with Morgan, he went to put the animals back in Waterloo in London but then the animals were a bit naughty, so they brought another dog called Goodland, who took care of Cobweb. My favourite character was Bethan because she was a great owner and took care of both dogs. Also, in the end I really liked it when Bethan met Patrick and kept Cobweb. I didn’t like it when Cobweb went with the woman to put the animals back in Waterloo, he didn’t deserve that! It took me awhile to read the book and some of the words were a bit difficult, but I still really liked this book. I would recommend this book for my mum as it is a nice story, and she loves reading big books and books that have lessons in them. I think the lesson in this book is for people to look after each other and take care of one another.

I loved this book! It started in a house in London where the dog was called Cobweb and it was playing with his owner as the war was coming to an end, she was called Bethan. I feel like I learnt a lot about what life was like in the war and this is sad people getting split up from their dogs. My favourite part of the book is when Bethan and Cobweb get reunited. I would 100% recommend this book and I would make no changes because I really enjoyed it thank you.
