Mister Creecher by Chris Priestley - Published by Bloomsbury
Reviews
I didn't particularly enjoy the book because the ending was disappointing as it didn't really explain what happened, it was rushed and the story is a bit complicated. The story was what I didn't like much. The book wasn't a lot about history and was more about the story. Only a bit was about the history as in the way the people dressed and the mills and factories in London in 1900. However, the story is action packed and mysterious which is good. The main character is a pick-pocket which explains a lot of the time of history it is in. The history was realistic and I was interested in learning more about that time in history. I might like to read other books of this author but I would hope the ending of his other books are written in a better way. Overall, the book is okay but not one of the best that I have read.
