Michael J. Warren is an author, naturalist, medievalist, ecocritic and teacher. His PhD in medieval literature was on the subject of birds in English poetry and he continues to research in the fields of medieval studies and environmental humanities, and is a series editor for the journal Medieval Ecocriticisms.
