Historical Recreation as an Educational Project

Teachers are being invited from all over Europe to participate in an in-service training course called «Historical Recreation as an Educational Project», to be organised in Lagos, City of the Discoveries in Portugal, from 10th  May (arrival) to 17th May 2009 (departure).

The course is already validated in Comenius-Grundtvig Database of European Commission with the code PT-2009-042-001.  You can check all details of the course here

In case you might be interested, please follow these steps as soon as possible:


Step 1 - Contact training organiser to reserve a place and send by e-mail the Course Registration Form (in annex) until 30th of December 2008.

Step 2 - The coordinator of the course will send you a Confirmation of Acceptance.

Step 3 - Ask for a Comenius or Grundtvig grant to your National Agency in order to attend this course. You may ask for the specific Application Form or download it directly from the websites of National Agencies

Step 4 - Complete the Application Form and annex the Confirmation of Acceptance.

Step 5 - Send the Application Form with all annexes to your National Agency until 16th January 2009.

Comenius or Grundtvig in-service training grants are available for staff involved in school education, further education or adult education. Usually the financing is 1.500 Euro for 1 week course and include travel and subsistence costs and course fee.

The deadline for these applications is 16th of January 2009 (for courses beginning after 1st April 2009) in all National Agencies of «Long Life Learning Program» in all EU countries. The National Agencies will give you an answer until end of March 2009.
