HEA Conference 2009
The HEA conference - History in Schools: Present & Future, will take place on Saturday 28th February 2009 at the Institute for Historical Research, London.
A series of overviews will be presented during the day, followed by periods for discussion. Talks will include: The History Classroom - Ben Walsh, Changes at Key Stage 3: the New Secondary Curriculum - Richard Harris (Historical Association), History at GCSE - Tim Lomas, History at A Level - Barbara Hibbert, Development of the Diploma - Jerome Freeman (History Advisor, Qualifications and Curriculum Authority).
The day will culminate in a round table discussion with all the speakers and Michael Maddison (HMI for History).
