Thursday 15th January Fire in the East: the Goths and the Huns and their Impact on the Roman Empire Professor Andrew Poulter (University of Nottingham) Joint Meeting with the Classical Association, who will arrange the venue.

Thursday 12 February Dr Claire Griffiths, (Wilberforce Institute for the Study of Slavery and Emancipation, University of Hull) Title to be confirmed

Thursday 5th March From the River Hull to the Ends of the Earth  Dr. Robb Robinson, with research presentation on     The Family Firm in the Maritime Sector, 1850-1939 Michaela Barnard (Both speakers from the Maritime Studies Centre, University of Hull). This meeting includes the Branch AGM

Meetings are held at the Danish Church, Osborne Street, Hull HU1 2PN, at 7.30.  Venue details for the 15th January meeting will be sent out in early January.
