The Fall and Rise of the Dreadnought Battleship

USS Texas in San Jacinto State Park, October 2006. The battleship is painted as it was in 1945 with Measure 21, Navy Blue System Camoflage. The camoflage was intended to make the battleship more difficult to detect from the air.

With the exception of the AGM and Marjorie Reeves Memorial Lecture on 18 / 25th May 2010 and the meeting at The Cherwell School, meetings will be held in the History Faculty, Old Boys' High School, George Street, Oxford, OX1 2RL.  Please enter by the door at the rear of the building. Wine and soft drinks will be available (at individual charge) before meetings. Guests are welcome at all meetings other than the AGM. Members may bring guests to the buffet supper (with advance booking) and to the Marjorie Reeves lecture following the AGM.
