Durham Historical Association has pleasure in announcing its Edinburgh Experience for 2009.

Highlights include a guided National Trust tour of 18th Century Georgian House, a tour of St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh Castle, Linlithgow Palace's magnificent ruins including restored courtyard, visits to the Scottish Parliament and Royal Yacht Brittania, as well as Scottish musical evenings and a lecture by Professor Tom Devine.

Accommodation will be in Pollock Hall of Residence, Holyrood Park Road, Edinburgh, a few minutes' walk from Princes Street. A charge of £500 will cover all; accommodation, coach, entry fees, and full board. A deposit of £100 is required payable by cheque to Professor Batho, Insurance is a personal liability please note.  and deposits are not refundable. Address, telephone, and e-mail as above.
