Do you share our belief in the importance of history?

The Historical Association was created to support the study and enjoyment of history in 1906. The Association believes that an historical awareness is essential for the twenty-first century citizen. The Association brings together people who share an interest in, and love for the past and it furthers the study and teaching and enjoyment of history in all forms.

We are an independent charity largely funded through membership subscriptions and our academic publishing.

If you share our belief in the importance of history why not contribute to our work?
